From 2005-2010 I took PCT from a mom & pop engineering shop to a leader in the Cryogenic Engineering Industry. The array of skills needed for this was tremendous. First and foremost, I had to teach my self cryogenic engineering coming from a Physics high school teacher’s background, but it’s more than that. Basically, what we all did at PCT is take a problem a customer had, and custom created solutions for each one. Our team was wildly creative. The current owner of PCT, David Money, started as an artist. Another top employee named Chris went to MIT. This is the type of talent that is required for creation.
While working as an actual cryogenic engineer I developed a sales and marketing division for the company. There was NOTHING prior to me. I grew the company from the one guy who hired me into an actual firm.
A lot of the work is dated, b/c it’s current to 2005/2006. I’ve included the work to showcase what I’m capable of with absolutely no one to guide or help me. I taught myself everything.
